My name is Zehra Khan, I am a freshman who is interested in theater and acting.
I’m so glad you decided to tell people about yourself and the current Homestead production. What exactly do you do for The Crucible?
I play one of the girls in this whole mess of a story.
What brought you to join the cast, crew for The Crucible?
My love for theater and acting and the many people in my life that have supported me.
Do you have any stories from rehearsals, practices or crew sessions?
One of my favorite moments was before rehearsal when me and my friends took a walk around the school. We were laughing and joking around while the autumn breeze blew in our faces.
All art comments on something and aligns itself with current issues. How does this work comment on current social or political issues and has it influenced you?
This play represents how cruel real life can be. Sometimes innocent people are blamed for things they didn’t do.
What do you hope the audience will be thinking about in the car as they drive home after this show?
I hope they will have an everlasting impression of how haunting and tragic the time period of The Crucible really is.
