Meet the Artist: Timothy Wood

My name is Timothy. I’m a junior at Homestead and I enjoy sleeping, eating, and breaking things.

Why did you want to be in the One Act Competition Class? Is it what you thought it would be? How many times have you taken One Act?
This is my first time in the One Act class. I wanted to take the class because I thought it would be just running another play and it is but it’s more work than I assumed. I control the main stage lights for the play and I’m pretty bad at it, so it’s been fun.

What is the play about? How have you helped create it?
I don’t see myself as a huge influence on how the play turned out but I voted on stuff. My interpretation of the play, Everyman, “is accepting the life you lived in the face of death.”

Tell us a random fact about yourself.
I trained for a month to learn nunchucks.
