Meet the Artist: Georgia Sulsberger

My name is Georgia Sulsberger. I am a junior, and I really enjoy diving, running, hiking, rock climbing, and playing guitar. This is my first time doing One Act! I wanted to take One Act because I really enjoy acting and want to improve, but don’t have time to be in Main Stage shows due to my schedule. I didn’t really know what to expect, but I was hoping for a challenge and I definitely got it.

For the One Act play, Everyman, I am an actor, specifically one of Everyman’s senses, who are very movement-based and mainly use aerial equipment. Everyman is a play about humanities experience facing the fact that death is inevitable and that the only thing one can leave behind is their legacy. My part in creating it was running lots of random scenes to help Figg think of blocking. With doing so much aerial dancing, I spent a lot of time figuring out cool tricks to do on the bar.

We completely rewrote the show, which took a lot of time. It was definitely challenging with how rushed some of the things were, like getting our cast list two weeks before Districts and adapting so close to competitions.

Tell us a random fact about yourself.
My favorite color is green
