I am El Sullivan, I am a senior and I like all art, violin and singing, and Irish Dance. I play the Motorist and the Chief of Police.
What brought you to join the cast, crew for Clue?
I love theater! Acting, being in costumes, pit, you name it! The atmosphere at Homestead’s drama department is so positive and I love always meeting new people.
Do you have any stories from rehearsals, practices or crew sessions?
Both times Jay accidentally threw a chair off the stage. It was so startling but so fitting for the character!
There are lots of funny moments in Clue. Without spoiling anything, what is your favorite moment, joke, or scene in the show. Why?
My favorite jokes are Colonel Mustard’s unprompted statements in the beginning of the show.
What do you hope the audience will be thinking about in the car as they drive home after this show?
I hope the audience will be thinking how they “never saw that coming!” The murder mystery should have surprises around every corner.
What’s one thing that is different in this play or rehearsal process than anything else we’ve done in the Homestead Theatre Department?
The things we do with the set are very different. We do so many things with the doors and furniture, and the whole set is extremely interactive.
