We believe the future is female.
Homestead High School is presenting “Blue Stockings” a play is about women fighting for the right to graduate from Cambridge in 1897. It’s based on the true events of the time. The women in the story are scientists, brilliant scientists fighting for recognition with their work.
Girls’ education is the answer to some of the world’s most pressing problems — war, economic instability, climate change and health crises. Yet more than 130 million girls around the world are unable to go to school.
That’s why we’re combining forces to fundraise for Malala Fund, the amazing organization founded by education activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai.
Why the Malala Fund? The play “Blue Stockings” is dedicated to Malala Yousafzai so we wanted to raise for this fund.
They believe in a world where every girl can learn for 12 years and lead without fear — and we agree!
If you do, too, you can support their work by making a donation to our team. The process is fast, easy, and secure — and best of all, it supports a great cause.
Are you with us?
Our play is April 27 and 28 at 7pm and April 29 at 1pm. Join us then as well. We will be donating $1 for every ticket sold that weekend!
