I am Zachary Alexander Miller, but everyone calls me Zach. I am surprisingly a freshman. I am interested in comedy, the fine arts, I’m also very interested in plants.
I am part of costumes for The Little Mermaid, which is a lot of fun putting together amazing pieces. I am also part of makeup. So I basically make the actors look amazing. I was part of Bonny Anne Bonny and had the best time of my life that I had to continue being part of Drama Club. I do a lot of things for costumes and makeup, but my main goal currently is putting together all the fish headdresses. I hope the audience will think “Wow Zach created some amazing headpieces for all the fish!!!!” in the car as they drive home after this show. (because I have spent sooooo much time making them).
Do you have any stories from rehearsals, practices or crew sessions?
Well, this wasn’t for The Little Mermaid specifically, but it was fun none the less. The most amazing thing happened to me this fall. I was so in love with theatre that I had to be part of the One Act competition class next year. Since I would only be a sophomore for the Junior and Senior level class I had to convince Ms. Figg-Franzoi that she needed me… desperately. So I created a power point presentation. During this presentation, Figg said the best thing to me, “You are so extra.” I laughed because it was so true. If you were not there to see my presentation I had a big speech with presidential music in the background and a slide presentation… which was mainly filled with my sad face and my happy face and lots of cats.
Anything else you want to talk about?
Yes. I think we should have a cat shirt dress up week for The Little Mermaid.
