Theatre is important to me personally because it constantly makes me see the world from someone else’s point of view. Theatre causes me to question how my character would view or feel about a certain situation. Theatre takes me outside of my own mind and forces me to “why.” Theatre is also an incredible safe haven for release. The day-to-day scenarios we face can easily apply to situations in theatre.
Theatre, with each experience, becomes a more and more comfortable setting for me. In any theatre situation. I find myself feeling more able to dive into it without hesitation.
