Since we are holding Aerial Workshops within these Workshops, we need to know how many people are coming each day so we can be safe and we may have to spread people out timing wise. Please let us know below if you are planning to attend the workshops and which days you will come.
Fill out Workshop Attendance Poll
(You can come to the workshops without filling the form out, this just helps us prepare for the workshops. If too many people come and don’t RSVP, we might not be able to accommodate people in the Aerial part of the workshop)
If you need the Aerial Permission Slip, please click here.
Come in via door 12 for a fun few hours of playing/acting/aerial work/dancing/questioning as we try to figure out how to put “Alice in Wonderland” on its feet.
If you come to all workshops and stay the entire time, you will automatically be cast in the fall show!!! Congrats!
If you can’t be at all workshops do not worry or fret, the workshops are fun, they don’t guarantee you will be the lead, anyone can walk in and surprise us the day of auditions! But come have fun!
Workshop dress code:
Aerial dance is different than traditional dance. Avoid loose clothing because it folds and this can inhibit your movements, wear tight and comfortable clothes instead. Cotton fabrics are better because silk and synthetic ones will cause slipperiness I highly suggest leggings, yoga pants, sweat pants, body suits, and a shirt with sleeves so you don’t burn your armpits and knee pits.
Things that damage the aerial equipment or yourself and cannot be worn:
- Jeans, corduroys, kakis
- Shorts, dresses, skirts, tank tops
- Anything with zippers, buttons, hooks, studs
- Belts
- Jewelry of any kind
- Lotion
